Terms of Service
C1 Ai (“we”, “the service”) is an AI tutor that teaches children through spoken, Socratic lessons with an animated whiteboard. The service is operated by Ediz Veli Tuncay, Gialousas Street, Engomi, 2414 Nicosia, Cyprus (“the operator”). Contact: support@c1ai.org.
1. Who may use the service
Only a parent or legal guardian (“you”) can create an account; children cannot create accounts. A child uses the service only through their parent's account, with the parent's knowledge. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and the child's parent or guardian, and that you supervise your child's use of the service.
2. Free trial and subscription
A new family account includes a free trial of 3 days. No payment card is required for the trial. After the trial, continued access to lessons requires a paid subscription at the price shown on the pricing page (currently €14.99 per month per family), billed monthly in advance until you cancel.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time through the “Manage subscription” link in the app or the link in your Paddle receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. See the refund policy.
4. What the tutor is, and is not
Lessons are generated by artificial intelligence (currently Google's Gemini for the real-time voice, and Anthropic's Claude for text tasks such as following the lesson, marking answers, homework and quizzes, with Gemini as its backup). AI can make mistakes, including in explanations, drawings and scores. The service supports learning; it does not replace a teacher, and progress scores are an indication, not an assessment. Please review important material with your child.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other accounts, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or upload material you have no right to use. Documents you upload stay private to your account; you are responsible for having the right to use them.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be available at all times but cannot guarantee it. We may change or improve features. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country. Otherwise, the operator's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
